Unfortunately, there’s no actual way of avoiding hay fever. So, how do people manage? By reducing their exposure to these allergens, or getting a hay fever jab. 

In the majority of hay fever sufferers, the body’s immune system will start to develop antibodies. Why does it do this? Because the immune system thinks it has to, in order to protect you. 

Hay fever injections help the body to calm down and reduce this reaction. By using corticosteroids known as Kenalog, hay fever can be better controlled to ease the symptoms of those who are encountering them on a daily basis. 

In general the Kenalog Jab is a fairly safe treatment, once the appropriate medical health checks have been completed during the consultation process there is no reason at all why you cannot have the Kenalog Jab. There are a few conditions that will prevent you from being allowed the Kenalog Jab, these include pregnancy/breastfeeding, heart failure and diabetes.

Your consultation will be carried out by Vicky, our fully certified aesthetician. During the consultation we will discuss not just the risks and benefits but also establish what you hope to gain from the procedure as well as discuss any recommendations Vicky, may have as your aesthetician.

You will also be advised on the need for repeat treatments for full coverage over the course of a Summer.
